TRAFFIC OFFICE

Our traffic office in Ilminster is the nerve-centre of the business. The telephone is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a senior member of staff always available to answer queries.

All our staff are carefully selected for their experience and can-do attitudes.

SERVICES

Same day, next day, and just-in-time deliveries are achieved by vehicles being available to suit your requirements. We have a team of 10 full-time drivers, backed up by a further team of part-time staff for additional cover at busy times. We also have a group of reliable sub-contractors. These have been thoroughly interviewed, screened and vetted for their suitability to provide the high standard of service we expect.

VEHICLES

Our vehicles are specified for ease and speed of loading, reliability and good payloads. We have small courier vans, 3, 4 and 6 pallet Sprinters, tail-lifts, curtainside tautliners, sliding roof euroliners and tail-lift artics.

DESTINATIONS

Due to the high throughput of freight and parcels, we have vehicles travelling to most destinations every week, and consequently we are able to offer a solution to the logistics problems presented to us.

 

PROJECTS

Distribution projects have become a major part of our activities. Large and awkward freight; delicate and fragile goods; multi-drop and multi-collection; load consolidation; large and abnormal load movement. Our warehouse in Ilminster gives us facilities to bulk-collect consignments, and sort them into cost-effective delivery routes.

WASTE CARRIERS LICENCE

Some of our bespoke projects require collection of redundant and scrap items from site. We therefore are registered waste carriers, registration number EAN/935523.

CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

We carry under Road Haulage Association conditions of carriage, 1998 version.
