We are international freight and courier operators based in South Somerset. Founded in January 2003 as a single van operation, we rapidly grew to 6 vehicles and 5 full-time staff. We specialise in dedicated same-day deliveries of urgent, high-value goods.

During the autumn of 2006 we had the opportunity to purchase a warehouse and yard in Station Road, Ilminster.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Situated just 1 minute off the A303 at Southfields roundabout, and 15 minutes from the M5 at Taunton, we now have a tremendous opportunity for rapid response throughout the UK and Europe due to the excellent roads links.

The premises allows us to provide secure storage and warehousing facilities. Once settled in we grew again, increasing our fleet to 10, and staff numbers to 11.

Our team of drivers and office staff are hand-picked for their "can-do" attitude. All have previous experience in transport, and each has their own area of individual expertise.

 

 

Our drivers are multi-skilled to cover the wide variety of consignments, destinations and time constraints stipulated by our clients.

These are backed up by a number of regular part-time drivers to cover demanding timescales, late night and weekend operations, and the inevitable double manning.

 

 

TRAINING

To ensure the whole team are all kept abreast of legislation and new concepts, we have an ongoing training policy. This varies from tachograph and drivers hours regulations, first aid appointed persons courses, load restraints and tail-lifts, through to Sage accountancy training, manual handling and fork-truck driving.

All trainees are issued with appropriate certificates, and refresher courses introduced at the appropriate intervals.
